On May 25, 2010, Knight's stock began trading on the NYSE Euronext. Chairman and CEO Tom Joyce rang the opening bell in New York and CFO Steve Bisgay rang the opening bell in Paris. As there was a great deal of employee excitement around the listing, Knight held a contest which asked employees to answer the question: "What do you believe this listing will mean for Knight?"
